Description

Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries. With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskies. This Cadenhead's Enigma 16 Year Old Speyside Single Malt is part of the Enigma series, which aims to highlight whiskies that are 'unusual, hard to quantify, perhaps even slightly contradictory'. This particular release was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024, having been aged in Manzanilla Hogshead.
