Rich and complex with notes of dried fruits (raisins, orange peels, caramelized pear), sweet elements like honeycomb, vanilla, caramel, and banana bread, alongside a distinctive Springbank funk, light smoke, vegetal peat, and maritime notes of sea spray and briny minerals.
Palate
Full-bodied and oily, with a rich sweetness of caramel, dark chocolate, and dried fruits (oranges, apricots, cherries). Notes of malted barley, citrus zest, baking spices, and a touch of brine and peat are present, along with toasted oak and a hint of sea salt.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering notes of oak spice, sweet toffee, caramel, and a gentle smoke. Hints of dried fruits, raisins, cinnamon, and a chalky minerality are also present, with a peppery and maritime character.
