Description

This Springbank 1998 Vintage is the inaugural release in the distillery's new Vintage Series, launched in 2025 to replace the annual 25-year-old expression. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2025, this nearly 27-year-old single malt was matured exclusively in a quartet of Oloroso sherry casks, comprising both refill and first-fill. Bottled at 48.3% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and naturally colored, with only 1,500 bottles released worldwide. It showcases Springbank's traditional production methods, including floor malting, and offers a complex, sherry-forward profile with a subtle peated character.
