Description

For a period, Campbeltown was the undisputed Whisky Capital of World, boasting over 30 distilleries operating simultaneously at its peak. Locally available peat, barley and coal, coupled with a quick steamship service to Glasgow meant this thriving industry lasted into the early 20th Century. This Springbank 2002 14 Year Old Bourbon Wood is a single malt whisky from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in November 2002 and bottled in August 2017, having been matured in a mix of fresh and refill bourbon barrels. It is a limited release of 9000 bottles and is bottled at cask strength of 55.8% ABV.
