A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt, along with notes of ginger loaf, pecan pie, and sometimes soft musty peat smoke, industrial oils, and coastal salt.
Palate
Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup, crystallised brown sugar, vanilla caramel, juicy baked fruit, and a subtle hint of peat smoke. Also notes of sea salt, black pepper, raisins, sultanas, and gentle oaky spice.
Finish
The peat smoke builds, with a leathery note developing over time. Whispers of ginger and nutmeg, sweet tea, oatcakes, and subtly smoky oak.
