Nose
Typical Springbank musk. Huge amount of alcohol, but it fits the picture and does not burn your nose away. Mostly typical port notes, sweet red fruits. Pencil shavings, walnut and cigar. Smoky notes in the background.
Palate
Huge flavours of nuts, sweet red fruits, lavender. The lavender notes is something I did not encounter in another whisky. It is sweet. Very good.
Finish
The lavender taste goes on, and so does the walnut. Red fruit ends this performance with some smoke. Very well done.
