Description

This Springbank 12-years-old Cask Strength is a single malt whisky from the Campbeltown region of Scotland. It is an official bottling from the Springbank distillery, known for being one of the few distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of the whisky-making process on-site. This particular release is Batch 14, bottled in 2017 at 54.2% ABV. The whisky was matured for 12 years in a combination of 70% Sherry casks (specifically Oloroso) and 30% Bourbon casks. It is non-chill filtered and naturally colored. This lightly peated expression offers a complex and rich character, typical of the Campbeltown style.
