Bottled just after the whisky bust of the 1980s, Springbank utilized excess stock of older whisky in its younger core range, making these bottlings highly coveted.

Nose
Grassy and malty with notes of lemon rind, overripe fruit, and a hint of Ivory soap. Rich sherry influences, dried fruits, oak, and a subtle brininess are also present.
Palate
Oily and rich, with a burst of light fall fruits, confectioner's sugar, and lemon drops. Flavors of buttered popcorn, lemon meringue, and a great spice mix with cinnamon. Dark chocolate, dried fruits, warm spices, and a hint of nuttiness are also evident.
Finish
Long and satisfying, with lingering notes of oak, dried fruits, and a touch of brine. Sweet powdered malted milk, floral notes, and a hint of coffee and dark dried fruit.
