- Nose
- Coastal salinity, oily malt, vanilla, fresh oak, citrus zest, and subtle earthy peat. Fresh and sweet with pineapple, starfruit, tangerines, toffee apples, bran muffins, and a little beeswax. Lightly creamy with cool floral notes of misty bromeliads and orange blossoms. Hint of sherry with golden raisins and aged balsamic.
- Palate
- Rich and oily with notes of malted barley, honey, lemon peel, gentle smoke, oak spice, and maritime minerality. Thick texture, sweet and juicy with tropical fruits, blossoming flowers, honeycomb, and a hint of salt. Hibiscus tea and lavender. Super rich honeycomb and beeswax with soft earthy peat smoke and dunnage. Nutty notes of roasted almonds and sesame seeds. The salt intensifies slightly to brine. Crisp apples and flamed baking spices.
- Finish
- Long and warming with lingering sea breeze, peppery spice, toasted oak, and a delicate smoky dryness. Medium-long, complex and gentle with smoke towards smoldering peat and machine shop. Candied tropical fruits, canned pears, apple cider, and tangerines. Pizza crusts drizzled with olive oil. Aloe vera and ferns.
