Description

This edition of the Local Barley range from Springbank was distilled from Optic barley grown on the High Cattadale Farm. It was matured for 9 years in a vatting of 80% bourbon casks and 20% sherry casks, and bottled in 2018 at 57.7% ABV. This is the fourth annual release in the celebrated Local Barley series, a limited edition of 9,700 bottles. Springbank is a revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828.

Palate
