Nose
Oily and industrial. Lots of machine shop oil. A bit of prunes. Salt, minerals, wet rocks, and mud. Peat phenols. Burnt caramel. Iron filings, fresh blood. There's sweetness here but it's not in the forefront. Some orange and cranberry. Smoke and a meaty stink. After opening up for a bit, it does get a bit sweeter, even pick up some vanilla.
Palate
Syrupy thick and mouth coating. At the front of the palate, it's super sharp and intense, then goes through a tart sweetness. The mid-palate is phenolic, orange, bittersweet citrus, artificial grape flavor, and machine oil. On the back end, it becomes earthy.
Finish
Long finish, full of lemon pith and medicine. Some woody tannins.
