A 1994 Springbank single malt from independent bottler North Star Spirits, matured in a refill bourbon hogshead for 25 years before being bottled in October 2020. This peated and double distilled whisky is part of North Star's Series 012, with only 130 bottles produced.

Smoky burnt lemon, salty water, beeswax and kerosene, with notes of banana, rockmelon, pawpaw, star anise, rubbery and herbal Springbank funk, cookies and cream ice cream, stem ginger, vegetal peat, smoked mushrooms, vanilla, white chocolate, and pineapple.
Palate
Warm tar, salty driftwood, spicy hot chilies, malty with rubbery Springbank character, anise, caraway, lapsang souchong, watermelon, cherries, ripe bananas, yoghurt, rosewater, textured milk, and floral notes.
Finish
Waves of savoury peat smoke, regal peat, smoke and tires, tropical fruits, black tea, and dark chocolate, with a moderately long and warming sensation.
