This Campbeltown single malt was bottled for the Cadenhead's Whisky Shop at marrying strength of 49% ABV. It sits neatly between the standard 10 and cask strength releases from Springbank. Springbank is one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process on the same premises.

Nose
An initial sweet and spicy hit with honeycomb, citrusy and tropical fruit notes like pineapple, a slight dunnage funk, soft smoke, and oak spice. Hints of vanilla fudge, hazelnut praline, sultana, and golden syrup, with an underlying malted cereal note.
Palate
Bold, sweet, and smoky with an oily texture. Notes of fresh honeycomb, golden syrup, milk chocolate, marzipan, and gentle woodsmoke. Cereal sweetness, spicy peat, salted caramel, and hints of raisin, sultana, candied orange, and apricot.
Finish
Long and warming with sweet oak and gentle ginger spice. Lingering tobacco leaf/cigar-like smoke, peat smoke, black pepper, and rock salt, with a pleasant bitterness and dryness.
