Description

Springbank 25 Years Old Millennium Bottling 1998 is an extremely rare and collectable single malt from Springbank. It was the first release in the distillery's lauded Millennium Collection, launched to celebrate New Year's Eve 1999 and herald in the new millennium. The series comprised six highly collectable bottlings, aged between 25 and 50 years.

Spicy orange, mandarin, ripe papaya, Indian mango curry - mineral, maritime, salty. Hints of sea air, moss, fern, metallic undertones, grape sugar, pipe tobacco, toffee pudding, vanilla bean, nutmeg, burlap, and a hint of mossy peat.
Palate
Green apple, sea salt, with a creamy mouthfeel and spicy oak. Initial notes of honey, oily texture, toffee, dark chocolate, molasses, syrupy elements, heavy strike of peat and salt, chimney, earth, lemon, pepper, and Underberg.
Finish
Long, maritime and dry. Colossal, with earth, coal, pepper, lemon peel, mint leaves and herbal bitterness.
