Nose
quite dry, with tarry notes, wet cloth or sheep wool and grilled bread, as well as some concrete and grassy notes. Lemons soft waxy notes after a while. Also beach pebbles. Certainly not a peat bomb, actually a fairly rounded and balanced Springbank. Little fruits though.
Palate
classy stuff, indeed more peaty hints now, light soot and a coastal side. Smoked kippers, medicinal notes and herbs. Lemons and chalk. A little tobacco. Maybe some toffee and vague fruits (old apples) in the background.
Finish
long, ashy, with lemons, mineral notes and dried herbs.
