Description
This Springbank 1969 34 Year Old is a rare single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Rare Reserve series. Distilled on February 12, 1969, at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, it matured for 34 years in a refill butt, cask number 266, before being bottled on April 18, 2003, at a cask strength of 56.7% ABV. Only 494 bottles were produced. Signatory Vintage, founded by Andrew Symington, is known for its un-chillfiltered, natural color, and often cask strength releases, capturing the pure character of individual barrels. Springbank is one of the few Scottish distilleries that performs every step of the whisky-making process on-site, from malting barley to bottling the spirit.
