Nose
Open yet compact, with an old Oloroso profile, deep, dense, sticky but taut. Notes of cherries, orange liqueur, juicy black fruit, apple chips, herbal liqueur, heavily infused tea leaves, old furniture, sweet tobacco, motor oil, and small puffs of coast.
Palate
Starts strong with orange and apple chips, unexpected acidity, predominant sherry with dry notes of tobacco, more tea, medicinal herbs, nocino, egg yolk, soy sauce, and hints of garage.
Finish
Very long, with blood orange (also peel), distinctly umami, tabasco, soot, and returning coastal notes.
