Description

Springbank 24 Years Old Sansibar 1996 is a limited-edition bottling of Springbank single malt, released by German independent bottler Sansibar for their 10th anniversary. The single malt was distilled in 1996 and initially matured in a sherry cask. It was then finished in a Madeira cask, and bottled in 2020 at 48.9%. The label features a black and white drawing of the Springbank distillery. Only 284 bottles of Springbank 24 Years Old Sansibar 1996 have been released.

Sweet and sour with plums, red berries, grapes, butterscotch, leather, a pinch of salt, orange peels, roasted nuts, coffee beans, chocolate, tobacco leaves, sweet mustard, pineapple, dates, pumpernickel, cinnamon candies, honey, malty pastries, and earthy undertones.
Finish
Moderate length with savoury/meaty hints, drying oak, salt, wet earth, sour fruit, walnut, coffee chocolate, dates, molasses, and wet leather.
