Description

A superb Springbank single malt, independently bottled by Mossburn for its Vintage Casks series. Distilled in 1999 in Campbeltown, it spent 22 years aging in a single ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at cask strength in 2021. Only 206 bottles were produced, making this a rare and limited release.

Delicate wood smoke with stewed fruit and baked apple with a little lemon, baking spices, leather and aromatic tobacco and camphor wood notes. Hugely complex and enticing.
Palate
Sweet fruitcake, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, tobacco, and hints of wood smoke all wrapped up in a full oily texture.
Finish
Very long with lingering smoke and spices.
