Description

A satirical private club bottling (No. 13) for the Regensburger Whisky- & Weinclub, created in collaboration with slowdrink.de and Uwaki-sha Coffee Shop. The label parodies the Volkswagen 'Dieselgate' scandal as 'Phenol Gate' and features humorous text about 'Britishness in a Scotch' and 'Low Quality'. Despite the parody, it is a highly-regarded peated single malt from St. George's distillery in England, matured in a combination of Oloroso Sherry, PX Sherry, and Riesling TBA casks.
