Description

This is a 10-year-old single-barrel bourbon from Starlight Distillery, celebrating its 25th Anniversary. It is made with non-GMO grains grown on the Huber family farm, utilizing a three-grain sweet mash and double pot distillation. The bourbon was aged in Canton Cooperage barrels with a No. 3-to-No. 4 char, featuring air-dried staves and charred heads, and matured in Warehouse 2. It was bottled at cask strength, 120.4 proof, and is unfiltered. The packaging includes a case and two glasses.

Rich caramel, vanilla bean, and toasted oak layered with dark cherries, leather, and a touch of baking spice. Very rich oak, cherry cola, vanilla extract, cocoa, loads of espresso, powdered sugar, and slightly smoky barrel char.
Palate
Rich toffee, baked stone fruit, dark honey, and seasoned oak with remarkable depth and balance. Bold yet balanced, offering notes of toffee, honeyed oak, candied orange peel, and cinnamon warmth, followed by dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Rich mocha, heavy oak char, vanilla bean, root beer, bright cinnamon, and wood spice.
Finish
Long, elegant, and powerfully structured with lingering oak spice, caramelized sugar, and velvety warmth. Long, smooth, and complex, with lingering spice, oak, and a subtle sweetness. Long. Cherry cola, sweet oak, ginger, tobacco, dry tannins, and very dark chocolate.
