HalfmoonRover2 AugThe Cognac-barrel layers point to richness, not a lighter style.
OrangepeelSoda20 JunThe vanilla and caramel sound sweet, but the fruit and rich Cognac-barrel layers give that sweetness some company. The long finish adds interest.

87 / 100This sounds more rich and layered than light, with bourbon sweetness meeting the Cognac-barrel character. Vanilla and caramel give the nose a familiar bourbon direction, while the fruit keeps it from reading as all sweetness. The long, complex finish adds a little extra depth to the picture. I like that contrast: recognizably bourbon-led, but with room for the Cognac influence to show.
