Description

Stauning El Clasico Rye Whisky Vermouth Finish is a Danish Rye Whisky from Stauning Distillery's experimental Research Series. It is crafted from local rye and barley, floor-malted on-site, double-distilled in direct-fired pot stills, and double matured. The whisky is aged for 3-4 years in Virgin American Oak casks before being finished for 6-12 months in Spanish Vermouth casks. This 'terroir product' is bottled on-site and is unfiltered, showcasing a warm-blooded character with a deep amber color and a sweet aftertaste with a touch of bitter botanicals, inspired by the Manhattan cocktail.
