Description

Stauning is an innovative Danish distillery with a unique take on modern whisky distillation. The 'Smoke' single malt typifies their approach, having been smoked using local peat and heather and aged in first-fill bourbon, Madeira, Jamaica Rum, and Virgin American Oak casks. Crafted with 100% floor-malted local Danish barley, it is double distilled in direct-fired pot stills. This award-winning whisky was voted Best Danish Single Malt Whisky at World Whiskies Awards 2022 and won a Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022.
