This is the Stokerij De Molenberg Bajan, an 8th Anniversary Edition single malt whisky. It was aged for 5 years in ex-Barbados Rum casks and bottled in 2021. The name 'Bajan' refers to the Creole language spoken on the Caribbean island of Barbados, known for its rum production. This limited edition of 14,000 bottles is described as a light and accessible whisky with fresh and fruity, soft tropical notes and a subtle spiciness, without smokiness.
