Description

A small Highland malt whisky distillery located in Methven, just a few miles west of Perth. It was established in 2013. This is Batch 001, a 3-year-old single malt matured in the finest European oak and ex-sherry casks, bottled un-chillfiltered with natural color.

Sticky nougat and stewed fruits, old wooden furniture, deep earthy beetroot, sugared berries, thick caramel, red English wine gums, balsamico vinegar, burnt matchsticks, heavily sherried.
Palate
Clean and weighty, dark chocolate, orange zest, blueberries, strawberries, plum jelly, brown loaf, malt, oak, noticeable ginger spiciness, a flash of metal, dry and dusty quality contrasting with sumptuous sherry notes.
Finish
Mid-long aftertaste with stronger dustiness, soft plums, burnt raisins, demerara sugar, redcurrants, ginger slices, and a gentle kick from the ABV.
