Description

A somewhat elusive single malt distillery built in 1892 as Glenisla, renamed three years later by new owners, W&A Gilbey. It is today part of the Diageo portfolio, providing key component fillings for J&B blends. Its single malt is rarely available as official bottlings. This particular release is from Small Batch Bottlers Scotland, an independent bottler launched as the more traditional independent cask bottling arm of The Distillers' Art Limited, focusing on selecting high quality casks to be bottled unchillfiltered and at cask strength.
