Description

Woodrow's of Edinburgh are a cask trader, a blender and an independent bottler. They also have their own bonded warehouse in Leith. Founded by Woody Tan, a former student of Heriot Watt University. Having completed the Brewing and Distilling masters degree, started as a whisky cask trader. They always get samples drawn for their customers (usually other independent bottlers) so they know exactly what they are buying. This 33-year-old Strathmill single malt is part of their Warehouse Reserve range. Distilled on May 10, 1991, and bottled on May 14, 2024, it was aged in a sherry hogshead before a finishing period in a refill hogshead (cask 2147). Bottled at a cask strength of 49.7%, with natural colour and no chill filtration, this release had an outturn of 157 bottles.
