Description

A malt distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland and part of the extensive portfolio of drinks multinational, Diageo. Known for its highly individual spirit style, the output from the distillery is highly prized by blenders and is rarely seen bottled officially as a single malt. A Scotch whisky company with heritage dating back to 1868. The modern iteration was re-established in 2002 as an independent bottler, A.D. Rattray, acquired a bottle of original 1904 Stronachie and recreated its style using spirit from Benrinnes Distillery. This is a 10-year-old small batch release, matured in bourbon casks, aiming to emulate the flavours and profile of the original Stronachie whisky.
