- Sweet, with notes of oak, green apple, honey, toffee, floral vanilla, and a spicy, vibrant character with persimmon fruit, cinnamon clove heat, allspice, and sherry sweetness. It can have a thin and light mouthfeel, sometimes presenting as sour, bitter, metallic, or biscuity malt.
- Finish
- A slight hint of pepper spice, often long and spiced with nutmeg eggnog and sherry, leading to dark chocolate cherry notes. The finish can also be brief, with baking spice and white pepper.
