Description

Suntory Royal was officially launched in May 1960 to commemorate Suntory's 60th anniversary. It was the final creation of founder Shinjiro Torii, based on extensive research into Japanese taste preferences. This prestigious blended Japanese whisky is meticulously crafted using select malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's renowned distilleries, including Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, and aged in a combination of casks such as American oak, sherry, and distinctive Japanese Mizunara oak. This release is a highly collectible vintage Japanese blended whisky with historical interest, representing the early Royal style from the period when the whisky would have been produced using malt and grain distilled at Yamazaki.
