Nose
Rich sherry influence with notes of fudge, dried berries, chocolate, coffee, leather, and incense. Hints of prunes, raisins, figs, plums, and oranges, alongside nutty and pastry notes like hazelnuts and croissants. A touch of dusty spices such as nutmeg, ginger, and pepper, with underlying oak and a hint of tangy orange.
Palate
Soft and sweet with toffee, fudge, chocolate, and a strong sherry character. Woody notes, burnt sugars, light liquorice, and maple syrup lead to a spicy development of pepper and ginger. Orange, caramel, and a light grassy note are present, with hints of bitter chocolate and espresso.
Finish
Medium to long with mild oak bitterness, fresh espresso, and lingering orange and fruit notes, ending with a touch of bitter sweetness.
