Description

A beautifully structured Talisker, this rare 25-year-old single malt has great depth and is full of vibrant but mellow character. This elegant expression of Talisker is reminiscent of much older drams. It is a limited edition offering, making it a perfect gift or toast to a special occasion.

Nose
Soft fruit, freshly cut grass, lemon zest, subtle smoke, earthy peat, caramelized sugar, and salty sea air. Notes of seaweed, old oranges, chalk, oak furniture, cider apples, banana, fudge, mandarin orange, licorice, and brown sugar.
Palate
Sweet, fruity, and oily with orchard fruits, sweet smoke, salted liquorice, citrus, spicy oak, and pepper. Gentle start with acidity and saltiness, building to peppery heat, bitterness, salt, and smoke. Heather, roses, salted caramel, chili chocolate, smoky barley, and nectarines, creamy and waxy.
Finish
Long, with hints of licorice, coffee, lemon, black pepper, and smoke. Slightly bitter and very drying, with the smoke becoming sweet alongside cedar wood.
