Nose
Old-school sherry, thick, earthy, and musty with notes of decomposed wood in a wet forest. Hints of juicy, jammy fruits, crushed nuts, mint, and eucalyptus. Complex and spicy, with salty warm sea air and cherries.
Palate
Mellow, old-school sherried Talisker with a balanced, dense mouthfeel. Flavors of mocha latte, sludgy milk chocolate with crushed peanuts, morel mushrooms, and earthy undertones. Sweet, smooth, with real oak and a barely-there peat, turning to dry chili chocolate.
Finish
Moderate and balanced length, surprisingly long and warming. Lingering milk chocolate, some cola sweetness, and a bitter, woody character.
