Description

A Speyside malt distillery that forms part of the Ian Macleod Distillers group. Traditionally its malt was mostly used in blends such as Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse, however since 2013 a new emphasis has been placed on its single malt brand. The premium brand of independent single malt and single grain bottlings from Murray McDavid. It was introduced to the company's portfolio under the owner. This 31 year old single malt was aged in a bourbon barrel initially, then further matured in a 110-litre bourbon cask from Koval Distillery in Chicago.
