Description

This Tamdhu 2003 20 Year Old is an exclusive limited edition individual cask bottling from The Gleann Mór Spirits Company, an independent firm based in Edinburgh, under their 'A Rare Find' label. It was finished for 8 months in an ex-Oloroso cask (cask #900260) and bottled in 2024. This release is one of only 245 bottles produced and is non-chill filtered with no artificial colouring.

Nose
Fruity and sweet nose brimming with dried fruit, caramel and coco powder. Dusty and shy, offering notes of old pencil shavings and dried orange peel. Over time, creamy vanilla, sun-warmed oak, and mild hints of tropical fruits emerge.
Palate
Extremely juicy palate delivering raisins, plum and cherry. Full-bodied and initially quite spicy, grabbing your attention. This intensity quickly fades, leaving behind teasing notes of white pepper, orange zest, and caramel.
Finish
Long finish which dances between baking spices and dried fruits. Long, with the spiciness lingering. It provides warmth and a solid foundation for more whimsical notes of tropical fruits and varying layers of vanilla sweetness.
