- Classic sherry style with walnuts, hazelnuts, toffee, gingerbread, prunes, tobacco leaves, cinnamon, sultanas, sandalwood, beeswax, and a faint flinty note. Also massive loads of raisins, dried damsons, French prunes, mulled wine spice, old rancio wine, and PX.
- Palate
- More sherry goodness, very fruity with raisins, plum jam, blackberries, brighter raspberries, pink grapefruit. Drying woody notes, rancio, tobacco leaves, liquorice, faint cocoa, cinnamon, cardamom, and subtle espresso. Superb old-school sherriness with tobaccos, toffees, millionaire shortbread, marmalade, fruitcake, dried beef, muscovado, and old armagnac.
- Finish
- Very long, still fruity with dried fruits, hints of chocolate, latte with cinnamon syrup, and gentle oak spice. Perfectly dry, more on chocolate, coffee, and armagnac.
