This limited edition indy bottling of Tamdhu for the Caxton's Warehouse No.1 series comes from a fresh oloroso sherry cask. It's a rich and spicy whisky that's expressive but not overbearing, with aromas of custard tarts and marzipan followed by flavours of vanilla shortbread, warm malt, rich oak and spice. Nose
buttery and creamy with custard pies, marzipan and glaze. Notes of strawberry and redcurrant in syrup, with a light hint of jam.
Palate
rich oak and spices, vanilla, shortbread and malty. Later, more delicate tones of red berries, pastries, and baked apples emerge.

more oak with a spiced custard finish. Pleasantly sweet, with spiced wood, soft lemon custard, raisins, strawberries, and sherried notes.
