A Speyside malt distillery that was opened in the Livet glen in 1966 by Invergordon Distillers as a response to the increasing demands for its blends and such, provision of these has always been the distillery's focus. Never-the-less, its single malt has also been bottled since the 1980s. An iconic Italian importer and independent bottler, founded in Genoa in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino. It is revered. This particular bottling was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 1988 by Moon Import as part of 'The Birds' series.
