Nose
soft vanilla and slightly salted caramel fudge. There's a lively bit of orangey citrus with some gentle herbal notes underneath, together with a hint of chamomile and a wee floral edge.
Palate
bright and fruity immediately, grapefruity and orangey, a bit heavier than a young bourbon cask but definite honey. It is a bit oily and a little waxy; prominently buttery with notes of coconut and some lemongrass. There is some really low background peat to me, but others may find that more dominant.
Finish
really long, warming, pleasant finish with a bit of spice but predominantly a very long-lasting Campari and Cointreau mix.
