Description

Distilled at Teaninch in 2007, this Highland single malt which was initially matured in a Hogshead before being finished in an Oloroso Sherry Butt. This was then bottled in 2022 by Berry Bros & Rudd at cask strength as a special Christmas Edition.

Nose
Creamy praline and apricot jam lead the way, with honeyed walnut bread and ginger biscuits. Fruity distillate with zesty green fruit notes. Dried fruit, baking spices, candied citrus peels and caramel.
Palate
Zesty marmalade and more sweet honeyed fruit lead to spiced biscuits, raisins, and toasted nuts. Thick dried figs and raisins mingle beautifully with grated apple and lashings of honey. Orange zest and oaky spice.
Finish
Figs, dates, and nuts continue, joined by hearty oak spice and charred marzipan. Vibrant and fresh.
