Description

A simple quest for quality, tradition, and innovation. Located in the Northern Highlands, Teaninich was founded in 1817. The whisky is predominantly destined for use in some of Scotland's most famous blends. Teaninich is one of just two Scotch distilleries to use a mash filter instead of a traditional mash tun, a method that enhances clarity and flavour. This single malt, aged under our care, initially offers notes of milk chocolate, caramel, and subtle red fruits. On tasting, richer flavours of blackberries, plums, and a hint of spice emerge, complemented by a delicate sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with hints of oak and sweet spices that linger in memory. Though it may seem conserved at first, it offers a surprising complexity with time.
