Established as Speciality Drinks in 1999, Elixir Distillers was set up by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh who are also known for founding the online spirits retail site the Whisky Exchange. The independent bottlers have several ranges including the Single Malts of Scotland, Elements of Islay, and Port Askaig. The Single Malts of Scotland range consists of independent bottlings of vintage single malt Scotch whisky. This Teaninich 2008 11 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch that stands out as a limited edition cask strength expression. Matured in a single refill hogshead for 11 years and bottled by Elixir Distillers in August 2020, this exceptional whisky offers a rich aromatic profile, creamy texture, and a complex finish. It was bottled at cask strength, natural colour, and no chill-filtration. Only 315 bottles were produced.
