Description
Teaninich Distillery, located near Alness in the Scottish Highlands, was founded in 1817. Known for its distinctive house style, Teaninich whisky offers a crisp, grassy character with vibrant citrus and floral notes. Its use of a mash filter press instead of traditional mash tuns is a rarity in Scotch whisky production, which enhances clarity and flavor extraction. Although much of its output goes into blends, Teaninich's single malts are increasingly recognized for their unique, clean profile.
