Description

The Teeling 13 Year Old The Revival Volume II is a Single Malt Irish Whiskey, the second limited edition bottling in Teeling's Revival series. It was distilled in 2002, matured for 12 years in ex-Bourbon barrels, and then finished for one year in ex-Calvados French apple brandy casks before being bottled in 2016 at 46% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and was released as a limited edition of 10,000 bottles.

Light, fruity, with notes of ripe red apples, pears, baked apples with cinnamon sugar and clove, lemon, mixed tinned fruits, vanilla, honey, pineapple, white grapes, apricots, and melon.
Palate
Mellow, sweet apples and pears with orange juice and zest, cinnamon, cloves, apple strudel, pepper, chili, pickled ginger, apricots, peach, vanilla, honey, muscat grapes. Light-bodied, yet mouth-coating.
Finish
Medium long, slightly spicy with a chili catch, apple and pear fruitiness, sugar-reduced cake icing sweetness, drying with more spices, bitter orange oil, cinnamon, cloves, cayenne notes, dryer oak.
