The Teeling Wonders of Wood Edition 2 is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, crafted from a balanced combination of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley, and triple distilled at Teeling's Dublin distillery. This second edition in the Wonders of Wood series is fully matured in virgin Portuguese oak casks, which are native to the Iberian Peninsula and known for their higher tannin content. This maturation process imparts distinct savory marmalade, tobacco, and pepper notes to the whiskey. As part of this series, Teeling partners with the Tree Council of Ireland to plant native Irish trees, contributing to reforestation efforts. It is bottled at 50% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
