Nose
Spicy with cinnamon and clove, honeysuckle, chocolate, caramel, charred oak, and a touch of red chilli. Also noted are yellow apples, baked apples with cinnamon, almonds, cake, waxy notes, and nutty chocolate with spicy cardamom.
Palate
Continues with spice, herbaceous notes, sweet jammy notes, cluster hops, and white pepper. Other notes include chocolate-covered raisins, hearty malt, baking spices, golden syrup, and a slightly acrid/chalky side with Ovaltine and chocolate.
Finish
Quite drying, with touches of Black Forest gâteau and rich cherry sweetness. Also described as fruit-forward with light peppery spice, sweet, toasty, and spicy with hints of dark chocolate, and a mix of spice and caramel.
