Nose
Spiced stone fruits and dried citrus, toasted marzipan, oaken vanilla, chocolate, and cracked black peppercorns. A pillowy spice with liquorice and orange, then caramel and nutmeg.
Palate
Honeyed rye bread, rum n'raisin fudge, dried berries and warming spice are backed by hints of earthy coffee and a whisper of smoke. Bold with a nice spiciness and menthol characteristic, sarsaparilla and treacle, rye bread, and bitter liquorice.
Finish
Honeyed sweetness lingers, with warming pepper and mocha in tow. A real root beer note comes through at the end, along with a deep bitter note along the back of the palate.
