Description

This North Highland Blended Malt is an 8-year-old whisky, a collaboration between independent bottler Thompson Bros and The Good Spirits Co. It is a blend of whiskies from two North Highland distilleries, Clynelish and Glen Ord, in almost 50/50 proportions. The blend was married in a freshly emptied refill sherry butt. Thompson Bros, founded by brothers Phil and Simon Thompson, are known for their independent bottlings and also operate Dornoch Distillery.

Heaps of fresh peach, floral notes of lychee, a touch of chalky flint, and honeyed sourdough are backed by flaky sultana pastries, a touch of banana, and oily, waxy malt.
Palate
More of that sweet peach and stone fruit character, with candied pineapple and milk bottle sweeties in tow. Silky layers of vanilla cream cushion a sprinkle of savoury spice.
