Description

This special bottling is very rare. Only one cask of this 21-year-old single malt whisky was produced. Distilled on the Isle of Mull at Tobermory Distillery in 1992, it has been bottled at cask strength from cask No.238. Caermory Whisky is a third-party bottling of Tobermory, created by Derek Hewson to release limited, single-cask bottlings of this rare Isle of Mull whisky. It was matured in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels.

Nose
Good fruity and woody aromas, hints of lifted lemon/citrus, floral (geranium), minty notes, green apple, creamy vanilla, hint of milk chocolate, new rope or cereal (bran or malt).
Palate
Viscous with good mouthfeel, fruity with baked fruit and slightly nutty flavours, sweet attack, very soft and smooth with spicy, clove flavours.
Finish
Clean and pure with a touch of sweetness, a final flourish of grassy notes and a good length.
